TRIAGE

Our representatives will assist you in seeing the proper ophthalmologist in the correct location at the appropriate time.

NON-COVID VS. COVID

A health declaration form is required for all face-to-face consultations. It will assist us in determining if a person may be seen by us directly, or should initially be redirected to the emergency room or infectious disease specialist.

ELECTIVE VS. URGENT

Non-sight-threatening concerns are considered elective cases. Sight-threatening concerns are considered urgent/emergent and should be seen immediately. These include sudden blurring or loss of vision, ocular trauma, and eye pain.

TELECONSULTATION VS. FACE-TO-FACE CONSULTATION

Teleconsultation or virtual visits may be appropriate for elective concerns. Face-to-face consultations or actual clinic visits are recommended for urgent concerns. Emergent concerns should be seen ASAP at the emergency room.

PEDIATRIC VS. ADULT

PEDIATRIC vs ADULT

Since we have both a pediatric ophthalmologist and adult ophthalmologist, we place the age cut-off at 18 years of age. Anybody below 18 years of age are automatically decked to our pediatric ophthalmologist, unless otherwise specified, requested, or required.

ST. LUKE'S GLOBAL CITY VS. ASIAN HOSPITAL

We are located in two hospitals. If you live South of Manila, then Asian Hospital in Alabang, Muntinlupa City will be recommended. If you leave in Manila or North of Manila, then St. Luke's Global City is the nearest clinic.
