Welcome to the Pediatric Ophthalmology Section of Eye.com.ph. This
patient-oriented website offers a compilation of frequently asked questions and
answers about the most common pediatric eye diseases, including strabismus. For
the most part, the eye disorders are organized according to the presenting signs
and symptoms. Information on the much rarer conditions distinct in pediatrics,
such as retinopathy of prematurity, developmental ocular anomalies, genetic
syndromes, and learning disabilities, are also provided. Adult patients with
strabismus may wish to visit the section on strabismus. The contents of this
website are meant to supplement any information provided by the eye doctor. Any
eye symptom warrants a complete evaluation; therefore, consulting a pediatric
ophthalmologist is strongly recommended.
Although this website is intended to provide information for the patients of EYE
REPUBLIC Ophthalmology Clinic, it is our sincere hope that other medical
