What are the symptoms of anterior uveitis?

Acute anterior uveitis may manifest with symptoms of pain, red eye, photophobia, mildly decreased vision, tearing. It may be have recurrent episodes. Chronic symptoms may manifest with periods of exacerbations and remissions, with fewer or none of the acute symptoms.

What are the critical signs?

Your ophthalmologist will see cells and flare in the anterior chamber while performing slit lamp biomicroscopy.
